Neurodegenerative diseases encompass a range of neurological disorders characterised by the loss of neurons in critical regions of the brain, which cause progressive motor, cognitive, and behavioural symptoms.

The two most common neurodegenerative disorders are Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. The onset of neurodegenerative diseases is linked with ageing. As the life expectancy is rising worldwide, it is expected that these diseases will affect more people.

At Sitilop, we are pioneers in the clinical care and research of neurodegenerative disorders. Our medical and scientific team has experience in the diagnosis, monitoring, assessment, management, and the development and application of biomarkers (e.g. clinical, neuropsychological, neuroimaging, digital, biochemical) and therapeutic development of common and rare neurodegenerative diseases.
